Kelly Olin does an exceptional job presenting this very broad topic. Mrs. Olin has several decades of experience dealing with water rights with the top riparian governing agency in California. The class delves into the most common situations you will experience when dealing with water rights with an emphasis on California law. The course is geared towards exam takers and practicing land surveyors.
Your Instructor
Kelly began her career in surveying with the California State Lands Commission in 1977 while attending the Surveying Program at Sacramento City College. She went on to become one of the first Boundary Determination Technicians and after 25 years became the Supervising Boundary Determination Officer for the Boundary Division at the State Lands Commission. Her area of expertise is water boundaries and she has served as an expert witness in several cases involving the determination of the boundary between upland owners and the State of California. Over the years she has taught several classes for CLSA on Water Boundaries. She is currently retired, however still does some consulting.
