Johnnie Robertson is a professional land surveyor licensed in the State of California. He is a graduate of the California State University at Northridge and has done post-graduate work at California Polytechnic University at Pomona and California State University at Fresno.
Now retired, Johnnie has over 30 years experience working for the California State Department of Transportation (Caltrans) in the Surveying, Geometronics and Right of Way Engineering Departments. For 8 years, he was the Branch Chief over Right of Way Engineering in the Los Angeles Caltrans Office. He also was an instructor at the Caltrans Survey Academy for many years and served as an expert witness for the State of California in cases involving eminent domain and real property.Johnnie has taught Land Survey Exam Preparatory Classes for the Los Angeles, Orange County and San Bernardino/Riverside chapters of the California Land Surveyors Association. He is currently providing training, quality control and quality assurance services to Hernandez Kroone and Associates in support of various projects for the California High Speed Rail.
